what people are saying
Every Client is unique and therefore their photo requirements are too. This is why I quote per project rather than per image/ per hour.
Photography is a lot more than just clicking a button. The cost of a shoot includes: use of my home studio and equipment, art direction (if required), sourcing props/ ingredients/models, creating sets, styling, shooting, editing, and retouching.
Before pre-production begins, I request a 50% deposit to secure your booking. Once you have received and are happy with your images, the final invoice is sent.
The copyright remains with the photographer (me). You will receive a license which will allow you to use the images in the way(s) agreed in the contact e.g on your website/ social media/ in advertising media.
In order to maintain the integrity and quality of my work, I ask that you don’t apply any significant retouching, or further edits, or filters to the images. You may enlarge or reduce image sizes as needed for your webiste or social accounts.
Our initial chats and mood board should ensure this doesn’t happen. But, if this should occur, I offer one free reshoot of any image you are not happy with. Any additional shoots come at an extra charge.
This is agreed at the outset and outlined in the contract. In general I have a 2 week turn around from the date of receiving the goods to be photogaphed, to you receiving the images. If the time frame changes for any reason I’ll let you know right away.
