hello there
Bsc Nutritional therapist, creative & late diagnosed Autistic
So glad you chassed on by (I presume you chassed in, or is that just me?) However you got here, I’m so happy to have you.
I always knew I was different. I spent years uncontrollably crying, hating myself; believing I was broken and stupid. After years of misdiagnoses I was eventually diagnosed with autism. I never want anyone else to go through what I went through. I am hugley passionate about advocating for neurodivergent people.
I’ve also had more than my share of skin and gut issues. I spent years trialling medications, clearing the chemist shelves of acne products, trying every fad diet under the sun …all to no avail.
That’s when I got curious about nutrition. I got really into health and fitness but due to my love of routine and obsessive nature, “clean eating” and daily cardio led to amenorrhea.
A turning point came in 2017. An *eventful* holiday to Bali left me with unwanted guests (parasites!) and post infectious IBS. I lived in elasticated pyjama pants, in close proximity to a toilet at all times and was fearful that each meal would leave me in pain. After receiving a print out of the low FODMAP diet and being told to “learn to live with it” I knew there had to be a way to calm my gut.

*Enter holistic health* and my discovery of nutritional therapy.
Through diet, lifestyle and some specific supplements IBS no longer ruled my life. I became so passionate about nutrition that I proceeded to spend three years studying for a BSc in nutritional therapy at the Institute of Optimal Nutrition (ION), validated by Portsmouth University.
You may be asking, “what the heck is nutritional therapy? ”
To me, nutritional therapy is where science meets individuality. Nutritional therapists use evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle stratergies and talior them to the individual, with the aim of bringing the body’s systems back into balance.
I am particuarly interested in gut health, skin health and advoacting for neurodivergent individuals.
BSc (with honours) in nutritional therapy – First class.

Health isn’t about living off salad and kale smoothies. Health is about balance, sustainability, rest and joy.

Herbal Teas
No English breakfast tea for me thanks, it’s herbal infusions all the way.
I’m also partial to black coffee, kombucha and a full bodied red (everything in moderation).
probably listening to
Dance Anthems
Dance music is essential for a good workout.
I grew up with my dad playing dance music on the stereo every Saturday and I’ve loved it every since.
Can’t lie, I hate running. I love HIIT, weights and a bit of Pilates. Find my favourite YouTube workout channels on the Tools & Resources page.
